Growing up as a first-generation immigrant, my parents worked incredibly hard to make a better life for us. This may not sound unusual but the way in which we did it made me who am I today. My dad was a jack of all trades, a real renaissance man. He had a computer repair business in addition to flipping houses. Luckily he had 5 boys to help with the rehab. This taught me valuable lessons in work ethic, construction, ingenuity and most important family. The other life lesson was that there is always a solution out there for every problem we faced. Simply scan the toolbox, materials on hand and figure out a way to solve the problem. Thinking outside the box led me to be the engineer I am today and Everyday Engineering sets forth in this same path, every problem has it’s solution…one just needs to work hard enough to find it.
